For ten years, ~92 percent of all public and private funds raised by MHF supported projects and programming to help women and girls obtain essential surgeries, heal and learn to create lives based on good health, self-confidence and personal vision, not shame.

Maternal Help Hope Fund d/b/a Maternal Health Fund is a USA registered public charity 501(c)(3) TIN 27-4451603.

We focus on working with and funding our partners in Uganda and Ethiopia who make a significant impact in maternal health prevention and treatment outcomes for the communities they serve. Our partners:

• Create sustainable capacity with local leaders in the private sector—centers of excellence, independent of government, that demonstrate what can be achieved. 
• Visualize a future and set new, higher expectations of the public health maternal and child sector. 
• Prioritize underserved communities, women and girls of little or no means. 
• Achieve noticeably consistently great outcomes.
• Create hopes for widespread replication of these services.

Between 2013 and 2022 MHF invested $5.8M USD of our donors’ resources—65 percent in capital spending, primarily from private foundations, to build physical infrastructure and develop human capital. We provide partial support for operating budgets from public donor funding, allowing us to stay engaged.
