As 2024 draws to a close we reflect on our achievements over 2024 made possible by your generosity:
In Ghana Over 130 women received treatment for their childbirth injuries at Mercy Fistula Center in Mankessim this 2024. The center is undergoing an upgrade and capacity expansion thanks to a grant from MHF. The first round of surgeries for 2025 is scheduled for March 1st. The target for 2025 is to treat 160 fistula cases.
In Uganda Dr. Fekade Ayenachew continues to provide surgical training at Terrewode Women’s Community Hospital. Over 400 women and girls received treatment for their childbirth injury in 2024.
In Ethiopia our partners at Bushulo MNCH-SC in Sidama and at March 8 MCH Center in Tigray are providing safe delivery and emergency obstetric care for thousand of women.
Your giving throughout 2024, double-match by private foundation grants has renewed many lives and seen numerous safe delivery of new lives. On behalf of all the lives touched by your generosity we offer our sincere and heartfelt appreciation.
